The digitally controlled grinding machine provides:
- Automatic grinding cycle including: – rough grinding, final grinding, wake-up and quick retraction of the grinding wheel at the end of the cycle.
- Various methods of grinding, including: – step-by-step gradual grinding, - "pendulum" grinding, - plunge-cut grinding.
- A linear displacement transducer shows the actual vertical position of the grinding wheel and provides rigid feedback to achieve increased grinding precision.
